In this lab we were supposed to use a brush tool in order to colour in a photo we took of our own drawing. The object of the lab was probably to teach us/ show us what we could do with a brush tool, and what types of brushes we have at our disposal. I completed the lab by using the brush and holding [SHIFT+LMB] this would make an "anchor point" where you could left mouse click another point without shift that would make a completely straight line, then just press [ESC] after you are done with that line. I continually did this to finish the colouring process.
The software we used for this project was Adobe Photoshop CS6. This is relevant to web design because we as designers need to be able to use basic tools as the brush tool, and also it is such a key part of using Photoshop or any other image editing software. I see myself using the brush tool quite a lot, since it is such an integral part of the image editing scene.
