In this trip we went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We went to see the art that was presented there. We saw art from across time, we saw some pieces from ancient Greece, to ancient Egypt, to very recent time. I learned about the different ways people have interpreted the same things, I learned about the different types of art that is present through out history. I can apply what I have learned there in visual design by taking elements from the art at the museum, like the colour pallet, etc.
I enjoyed the experience of going to the museum. This is mainly because I enjoy learning and art so learning about art is something I really enjoyed. My favorite part of the museum was ancient Egypt because I like the art style that they used and the whole class was there with their own thoughts. My least favorite was Africa because what we were shown wasn't very interesting. I would go to the museum again because of the exhibits that I did not get to and would like to see. I think going with a friend would be an enjoyable experience since we could have conversations about what we saw and get different points of views from each other.
