Lab 11

In this lab we were to put an image into a word. The objective of the lab was to teach us how to put a image into a word to make it more appealing. I did this by opening a new document in Adobe InDesign, using the type tool, to make a word, in this case "SPORT", made the word bold. Then make the word into an outline by selecting text frame>type>create outline. Then I placed an image and filled frame proportionally by going to Object>Fitting>Fill frame proportionally.
In this lab we used Adobe InDesign. This is relevant to web design because we need to know what looks appealing to our target demographic. I see myself using these skills to make a poster or something similar that many people would see.
